About the Author

Yoshihiro Togashi's manga career began in 1986 at the age of 20, when he won the coveted Osamu Tezuka Award for new manga artists. Volume 33 is a super dialogue heavy volume of Hunter X Hunter, with little in the way of action. Fortunately it is all very interesting. The overall theme of this volume is definitely the mysterious Dark Continent.Boy there is a lot to cover in this one. One of the highlights of the volume is learning more about Dark Continent. Each new detail is both terrifying and filled with a sense of wonder. There is a truly gorgeous 3 page spread that gives us a glimpse of the wild life that lives there.But even more terrifying the continent is the majority of those going on the voyage to there. The scariest of which is the Kakin Royal family, some of which are truly dark and disturbing. Beyond Netero continues to be an intriguing new characters, it's pretty hard to get a good read on him. We also to get to see quite a bit more of the Zodiacs.Happily Kurapika and Leorio take center stage in this volume. It's good to see how their friendship has grown. An odd note of the volume is just how little Gon there is, I think he may be out of the story for a while. Volume 33 of Hunter X Hunter is must a read for fans, just be prepared to read a bit more then usual.

Come on it is by Yoshiro Togashi, of course this is gold made into paper, picture, and word.

Amazing, hard to follow a but fast moving with an awesome plot line, Is this the most important part of the dark continent? Because they haven't even arrived there! More focused currently on the interesting and evilving story line of Kurapika and not much either Gonna, which is okay! Great read

Togashi's writing and art is just excellent. The story is going in the right direction and we can't wait as fans.

Thank you, Togashi. A masterpiece as always. A new, colorful array of characters and a nice (finishing?) touch to Gon's storyline.

I’m finished with the anime series on Crunchyroll so I’m happy that Togashi is finally putting out more to the hunter hunter universe. I miss my four boys and the crazy clown!

Can't wait for volume 34

While there are technically 40 pages, (each for a corresponding principle) a 5 minute read is hardly what I was expecting. Thought there might be some intellectual tools to be had. But alas, with complex ideas such as, use a dictionary, or write down ideas, this just may have lowered my intellect. The genius here, I admit, is the marketing gloss that snared my money.

It's a stupid rip-off. The title is a lie. There is no toolkit given, just some general advice--brilliant things like "record your thoughts." It is a pamphlet, not a book, and I am angry at Amazon for allowing it to be sold as a book. It was a TOTAL waste of 3 dollars of my money and of 15 minutes of my time.

It was a lousy read. Nice points but nothing new really. Would have been better as a blog post instead of a book

The book has 40 short sections, but between them are several repetitious entries and overlaps... how many ways can you say the same thing? A lot it seems.Think of this book not as a finely crafted German toolkit, ready to hand down like an heirloom through the generations, but instead more like that budget multi tool you got because it seems too good to be true, so many attachments, so low cost.... but just like that tool, this book quickly blunts itself, and almost none of the included extras actually fit your needs.

I already knew about 90% of the material ideas in the toolkit and I think most people with a reasonable amount of common sense would. That's the key, common sense, the ability to use the critical thinking skills they don't teach kids in school anymore. It was however a good read, and fast. IT resonates and reaffirms many ideas that are floating in the back of so many peoples minds. It's a great reminder of what we need to remember we know. Make sense.

Every first year teacher has greater knowledge about learning then what you will find in this book. Do not waste your time. There are much better, thoroughly researched books on the brain and how we learn. Use your time to investigate them.

The book highlights some commonly known / understood facts about life and success. As the title implies, I would have been happy to read more "genius" pointers, especially from genius minds.

The book is basically a list of skills that can help you improve your thought process. It may be what geniuses do, but it is also what any intelligent person can do. If you looking for insight into how geniuses think, I don't believe this give a full picture.
